When you are traveling, have you ever thought about making your own post cards? There is something very satisfying about finding a little time to record your own impressions of a place through a sketch or quick painting. Direct observation is the best way to experience a new place.

In this workshop we will learn:
How to make a small travel sized art kit
Tips for capturing a moment
How to enhance your travel enjoyment through direct observation.
Gouache (Pronounced: Gwash)
Winsor & Newton or M. Graham or Holbein are the best brands that I have tried.
(You can get a really cheap set at Michaels for $5 with 40% off but beware not much pigment)

Primary yellow or Cadmium yellow light
Yellow ochre
Alizarin crimson
Cadmium orange
Ultramarine blue
Titanium white
